Return

Not sure where this idea came from. Turned out a bit more “editorial,” than intended. Matter of fact, I hadn't intended it to be editorial at all. I actually gave momma bird-of-prey a bit of a tiny smile, albeit, smirk, because she looked too off-put with the original downturn of the corner of her beak-mouth. Looked way too gloomy. Like I said, I don't know from whence this idea cometh, because I maybe eat at said represented gastro-establishment once a year, max, if that. Anyway, interpret to your hearts content! Let me know what you think. Onward and upwards, french fry eatin' birds o' prey!

  5. It's adorable and very well done and while I agree that particular eatery doesn't need any more advertisement, I think the idea was to show it was "fast food" and because it is universally recognizable, it serves the purpose well. (Wow, imagine making something that was universally recognizable.)

  6. Love how you captured that utter look of defeat and exhaustion on a hard working mama's faces, as she returns to the nest after a hard day and obviously too tired to prepare a home cooked meal she knows her kids really deserve...nothing wrong at all with the editorial aesthetic. It works!

  7. Love the idea. Kind of makes me want to eat a Maccy D's, which always makes me feel sick but happy! Great work.

  8. Love it!!! And really, so appropriate! Kids DO get crazy-excited for McDonalds!! (presuming they don't have it every day!) I know I do, now that I've limited my intake to only about twice a year!!! Great expression on the baby birds!
